Amber Rose has the best response for why women should NEVER feel ashamed of demanding safe sex

Amber Rose is simply not interested in your slut-shaming. The unapologetic social-media star doesn’t mince words when it comes to a woman’s right to own her sexuality. And you have to hear how passionately she defends the women in the audience.

He just shit on your whole life, bitch.

I don’t get it

He’s thanking her for her criticism because that’s the polite thing to do when being judged for something you are pursuing a career in. She showed her complete and total lack of class and tact by misinterpreting his thanks as an acceptance of a compliment. It put her in her place in a very discreet yet sick as hell way. Basically, he revealed that she is trash in a very polite way.

the older I get, the less patience I have for the idea that a story is inherently complex or #deep because it has a bittersweet or tragic ending, or that people who like for things to end on a happy note are simple-minded weaklings who can’t handle harsh realities and mature storytelling.

Look, shit is fucked. Life is a mess. Sometimes it’s a struggle to even come up with a reason to go on. I respect that media should be realistic and true to life, but fucking sue me, for once I just want to see the bad guys eat shit while the good guys ride off into the sunset and never have anything bad happen to them ever again. I don’t care if it’s unrealistic or implausible, that’s why it’s a fucking story. I have enough tragedy in my real life, thanks.

Sometimes I worry maybe I’m the friend that no one likes but they all think everyone else likes me, so they all hide it, but then someone confesses they hate me, and everyone else agrees, and they team up to all stab me in the back 23 times at the Senate on the Ides of March

I’ve been very angered by reviews in which Peeta is called a ‘wimp,’ because I think he’s actually the braver of the two boys.  Why?
Because Peeta is the one who, despite everything he’s been through–the Hunger Games, the Quarter Quell, physical and psychological torture–is able to retain his essential humanity.  Peeta is the one who, unlike Gale, recognizes there is a line that must never, EVER be crossed.
Sarah Darer Littman, “The Politics of Mockingjay,” The Girl Who Was On Fire, summing up the difference between Gale and Peeta perfectly. (via hedwig123)
